Last Minute or No Other Choice

Greetings,

When we talked about events or functions, there are times when someone will declined a job at the last moment for some reason, usually personal matters and sometimes they got sick.
That was what happen to me last week, 2 last minute jobs, one is for AEON Credit annual dinner and  the Merdeka Palace Hotel 13th Annual Dinner. Both events when well without any unwanted mishap. Sometimes it is hard to accept the job at the last minutes but when you look further ahead it is good for your repertoire in this line. This means you are capable.

The things we should look into when this happen
1. It is important to have a rehearsal early in the morning and with everyone around especially the Organizing Chairperson who knows whats going on
2. Get all the important details of the event, the VIPs names, the theme, the reason why the function is held and the rest of details you are master of ceremony of the event.
3. Make sure all the little details, like music, timing and who is in charge of what area. Get to know the committee members, the stage manager and your runner to have a clearer picture of the hold evening and don't make stupid announcements.
4. Get yourself ready for the evening and don't stay to long for the rehearsal because the performers like to drag and this might go on late in the afternoon.
5. Lastly, double check your scripts and the names plus their titles.

The two pictures below are the only pictures  I managed to take.

The theme for the evening was Code Red, where everyone wearing red or a little bit of red.
Lots of prizes and awards were given out and the performers are indeed great.

That is right, No Money No Honey.

Well, that it for now, hope to have more pictures next time.

If you and your company want to organized an event do let us know, we want to help to make it the best ever for you and our mission.

Enjoy!!!!
